Description

The HO4R Opto Reflective Optical Sensor is a compact infrared based sensor designed for non contact object detection and proximity sensing. It integrates an infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor within a single package, allowing it to detect objects based on reflected IR light intensity. When an object enters the sensing area, the emitted light reflects back to the receiver, changing the output signal for detection. Reflective sensors work by measuring variations in reflected light, making them effective for detecting objects regardless of material.

The HO4R sensor is widely used in India for embedded systems, robotics, industrial electronics, and automation applications. It is valued for its compact design, fast response time, and reliable detection in applications such as line following robots, object sensing, and position detection.
