The rain sensor module is designed for accurate rain detection and environmental monitoring. This rain drop sensor is widely used to measure rainfall intensity and detect the presence of water droplets in real time. The rain sensor can be integrated into various weather monitoring systems and converts rainfall data into both analog (AO) and digital output signals, making it suitable for platforms like Arduino and other microcontrollers.

This rain sensor module includes a printed circuit board (control board) that collects raindrops. As water droplets accumulate on the surface, they form conductive paths that change resistance, which is then measured using an op-amp. The lower the resistance (more water present), the lower the output voltage. Conversely, less water results in a higher voltage output. For instance, a completely dry board will output around 5V.

The sensor module consists of a rain board and a separate control board for easy installation and flexibility. It features a power indicator LED and an adjustable sensitivity controlled via a potentiometer. Built around the reliable LM393 op-amp, this rain drop sensor module ensures stable and precise performance in varying weather conditions.
