This is a popular 16×2 LCD Display Blue Backlight . It is based on the SPLC780D display controller which makes it is easy to interface this LCD most micro-controllers. Its extreme popularity ensures that no matter which micro controller platform you are using, you will definitely find ready libraries to use this 16×2 LCD. It works of 5v and has a blue backlight which can be switched on and off as desired.
This is a genuine JHD Display, and an excellent blue backlit LCD display. It is ideal for Arduino-based projects. This 16×2 LCD Display with Blue Backlight is very simple to interface with Arduino or Other Microcontrollers. The display is 16 character by 2 line with very clear and high contrast white text against a blue background/backlight. The values displayed on this LCD display can be simple text or numerical values read by the sensors, such as temperature or pressure, or even the number of cycles performed by the Arduino.
